A piano is a musical instrument by means of keyboard.
That is the definition of a piano but i think there is tons more to that...... A piano is a great friend, it can cheer you up on the gloomiest and darkest of all days. It is a companion always listening to your sorrow and not making any comment. You can pour out all your emotions like sadness, love, happiness, betrayal and craziness. Though letting go too much may harm and kill your best friend, but it is usually very reliable and would not die on you. After spilling out your deepest and innermost feelings you will actually feel a whole and way lot better, its like talking to your best pal. Different songs bring out different emotions. For example, "River flows in you" By Yiruma which is played when you are very in love or for fun. There are others like "Kiss the rain" By Yiruma which is very sad especially when you listen to it. There are songs filled with happinness like "Spring" from the four seasons By Antonio Lucio Vivaldi. Thats why we piano lovers love the piano so much, its a great way to express yourself. Without shouting to the world what you feel....... This is a picture of my piano

Top five laptop brands in 2009 starting from number 5
Number 5. Number 4 Samsung has drastically improved their reputation over the years and is now known as a premium brand. Their monitors are well-built and the end models boast impressive features for a good price. Number 3 Dell-This is a one of the most popular companies worldwide for a good reason. Most Dell laptops are known for their reliability, perfomance and overall good value for family and entreprise base customers. Plus, they have impressive styling and features which command a high price. Number 2 Apple- Apple laptops have always been well-built with impressive features, portability and reliability. Thus Apple is one of the best laptop brands on the market and you will have to pay more for its quality. Number 1 TOSHIBA. This brand is the top company in the laptop industry right now. The main boast is the reliability regardless of classification. The lower end models has features and prices that rival the best while their high end models give what the customers want and many times more. I find that great style, Eye-Catching features, appropriate prices, reliability and recognized as a reputable brand in the market.
BASKETBALL SHOES
Skill in Basketball is one thing that contributes to your success but shoes play an important role too. A good pair of shoes would increase the grip of your feet on the court, thus making it easier for you to run or sprint without slipping and falling. It also maximises your mobility on the court. It also reduces the impact on your knees and ankles when you land from a jump. It gives you more stability and comfort, making it easier to take on a competition with confidence. A good basketball shoe wraps the midfoot for extra lockdown, therefore it makes it extremely light. There is something in a basketball shoe known as the "integrated booty system" which provides a glove-like fit. This allows the player to have enhanced control on the court. Last but not least, the shoes have a 360 degree Max air unit to allow the player to have multidirectional movements. Also, the well-known herringbone pattern on the rubber outsole provides more durability so the shoe wears out slower. So by all the reasons stated above, it is evident that a good pair of basketball shoes enhance a player's performance.

Books are known to be the foundation of English/Chinese language. They are the bricks that help build the castle of different languages. Reading fiction books has always been my favorite past time, I have read books like the Alex rider series by Antony Horowitz to Dragon keeper series by Carole Wilkinson. But my father strongly believes Fiction do not help the process to improve the English language. Thus I have been force to read non-fiction books for example Men in White and Memoirs of Lee Kwan Yew. Although they do help in enhancing and increasing your bank of vocabulary, I find it exceptionally dull and boring. Non-fiction books lack the adrenaline pumping and the thickness of suspense that most fiction books hold and grasps. I love fiction as it brings out the colours in life and that it transports you to another world and the books describe the world so vividly that till you can sense and feel your surrounding living the character lifes. The books are also so captivating that your eyes are stuck to you even if a angry teacher is standing next to you and shouting his head off, his yelling is only a whisper of the wind or breeze you feel in the book. Fiction books are just insanely awesome!! Its getting rather late I better go to bed now got to go to school....... But I have still some time to read XD....

Goals for 2010
I love fresh starts and new beginnings. It's always good to be able to stop where you are, evaluate things, see what needs to change, and then forge ahead with a new plan. That's what I like to do at the beginning of each year. I sat down last night and came up with a list of goals for 2010. I don't call them "New Year's Resolutions" because to most people that translates into "eventual failure come February, March at the latest." I choose instead to plan on success. I've learned a lot about setting goals over the past few years. Talk to any personal development guru, and they are likely to say that, among other things, goals must be measurable, have a beginning and an end, and be specific. Most importantly, in order to increase your chances of success many times over, you must write your goals down and look at them frequently. Accountability is also important in achieving goals, so I've decided to share with you the goals I wrote in my journal last night for 2010, beginning January 16. Some of these will last throughout the year; others will be met (again, choose success!) and be replaced by more goals. Here they are: Getting A's for all my subjects. Making more friends My walk with christ deepens. I'll get into my table tennis cca. I will get into IP. Yup thats all for now...... |
